A proposal for a new mixed use tower with a widened mixed use programme. The scheme aims to reactivate lost traces of a hidden past with a programme which binds and focuses itself around a mixed use scheme. Residential usage is integrated into the vertical spine whilst the public realm promotes a new hub for a marginalised arts community with a floating urban room as a hub for a new emerging community. The form of the building is carefully sculpted to respond to the dynamics of the site and orientates outlook between carved out spaces. The stepped levels of the section, offer opportunities for sky gardens and landscaping to occur in order that many aspects of the building become active and communal.
