A new build proposal for 4 houses which celebrates a micro community through private and shared spaces so to encourage community between the owners. The materials on the site are custom hand casted concrete with special hand made bricks using local clays but special brick casting sourced in Denmark. The arrangement of the façade offers a contemporary vernacular approach and can be read as both as a single entity or as a series of individual houses offering varying interpretations. Soft landscaping is integral to the proposal to bind the building into the nearby woodland context and offer a delight of nature into the everyday.
